License Requirements:
To obtain a Florida real estate salesperson license, you must meet the following requirements:
Age:
You must be at least 18 years old.
Social Security Number: You need to have a United States Social Security number. If you don't have one, you can visit the Social Security Administration website for information on how to obtain it.
Education:
You must have a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, you need to complete 63 hours of approved pre-licensing instruction within the last two years.
Exam: Pass the Florida sales associate exam.
Application and Fingerprinting: Submit an application to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) and pay the $62.75 application fee. You will also need to get fingerprinted.
By meeting these requirements, you will be on your way to obtaining a Florida real estate salesperson license.
